GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The fuel system tanks are situated i n the rear comportment, one each side of the
engine under the floor ponelling.
tanks and access holes, covered by large rubber bungs, are reached from under the car.
Two flush fitting filler caps are situated on the rear quarter panels;
are connected to the tank by rubber hoses retained with clips. A fuel gouge sender
unit i s fitted i n the tap of the ri g ht-hand tank and the tanks are cou p led via a con-
nectin g pipe to bottorn of each tank.

Disconnect the fuel supply pipe to the carburetters and the filter/flowback
valve. Make sure the flexible fuel supply pipe from the pump does not fall
and allow the fuel to droiri from the tanks.

Replace the filter/flawlack valve

Remove the screws retaining the iet cover and gasket on each of the
carburetters.
Remove the main and idling jet asserriblies and blow the jets through using
an air line.
