Connecting Equipment, Filling System

Equipment must be connected by
an authorized specialist only.

Siphon and condensate discharge
Insert siphon (1) according the Figure
to the left.
Dismount cover paneling from con-
densing boiler.
Connect condensate discharge and
neutralizing device (accessory) to
siphon.
Note:
The condensate line must not be firmly
connected to the sewer line. The
condensate must be able to freely drip
into a funnel.
Filling system
Connect water hose to KFE valve (2).
Open all radiator valves.
Fill cold system up to 1 bar.
Monitor water quality.
Ventilate pump (loosen impeller with
screwdriver if necessary).
Fill condensate siphon with water
(approx. 0.5 l).

8 Check lines for tightness and leaks

Installation of internal hydraulic
accessories
Assembly of the hydraulic switch or the
plate heat exchanger is performed
following a separate manual.
This manual is contained in the
respective accessory set.
DANGER:
Danger of poisoning! If the
siphon is not full of water, or with
open connections, flue gases arising
can put people in mortal danger.
Startup pump several times.
Upon complete venting, fill system to
final operating pressure.
Close venting screw and remove fil-
ling hose.
Replacing system
Rinse system carefully.
Check connections for tightness and
leaks.
Ventilate system carefully
Plug in required exhaust connector
plate (concentric/parallel)
Insert boiler connector (concentric or
parallel) from the top into the intended
opening and push into receiving pipe.
Use lubricant suitable for PPS ex-
haust pipes
Connect exhaust collector to exhaust
system
