The following notation is used in this manual to provide precautions required to ensure safe usage of the KP100G Gridconnect Photovoltaic Inverter
(hereafter called the KP100G). Always read and heed the information provided in all safety precautions.

Meanings of Alert Symbols

Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, is likely to result in serious injury or
may result in death. Additionally there may be severe property damage.
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, may result in minor or moderate
injury or in property damage. Property damage refers to damage that may extend to include the house,
furniture, and pets.
Disassembly Prohibition
Indicates prohibitions when there is a possibility of injury, such as from electric shock, as the result of
disassembly.
High-temperature Caution
Indicates the possibility of injury by high temperature under specific conditions.
General Prohibition
Indicates non-specific general prohibitions.
General Instruction
Indicates non-specific general instructions for user actions.
Electric Shock Caution
Indicates the possibility of electric shock under specific conditions.
Ground Wire Connection
Used to instruct the user to always connect the ground wire when using a device equipped with a safety
ground terminal.
Disposing Caution
Used to instruct the user to follow the specified procedure when disposing the product.
