Auto Test
The inverter is supplied with an auto-test function which enables the user to verify the correct operation of the protection interface.
In order to select this function press the " / " button until the message "AUTO TEST" appears on the display panel. Press and hold the "OK" button
for at least 5 second, to initiate the auto-test procedure.
The first check to be made is the upper voltage threshold. The display panel will show "V↑ 276V ≤ 0.1S", which is the value set for the upper voltage
threshold and the maximum delay admitted before the protection intervenes. The display will show the variation of the upper voltage threshold and the
voltage value of the mains supply as measured by the micro-controller. If the value of the threshold and the mains supply voltage are equal the inverter
will switch to the "fault" status, by doing so the inverter will disconnect from the grid and the display panel will show for example a message similar to
"T OK 233V -78ms". This means that the threshold voltage and the measured mains supply voltage have become equal at 233V and the switching time
is 78 milliseconds.
By pressing the "OK" button again the display panel will show the lower voltage threshold check. The display will show a message similar to "V↓
185V ≤ 0.2S", which is the value set for the lower voltage threshold and the maximum delay admitted before the protection intervenes. By pressing the
button once again, the display will show the variation of the lower voltage threshold and the voltage value of the mains supply as measured by the
micro-controller. If the value of the threshold and the mains supply voltage are equal the inverter will switch to the "fault" status, by doing so the
inverter will disconnect from the grid and the display panel will show for example a message similar to "T OK 233V -53ms". This means that the
threshold voltage and the measured mains supply voltage have become equal at 232V and the switching time is 53 milliseconds.
By pressing the "OK" button again the display panel will show the upper frequency threshold check. The display will show a message similar to "f↑
50.2Hz ≤ 0.06s", which is the value set for the upper frequency threshold and the maximum delay admitted before the protection intervenes (in reality
the display would not show this value, as the 0.06s step (3 cycles) has only been shown as the protection is not sensitive to the frequency variations less
than 40ms (two cycles)). By pressing the button once again, the display will show the variation of the upper frequency threshold and the frequency
value of the mains supply as measured by the micro-controller. If the value of the threshold and the mains supply frequency are equal the inverter will
switch to the "fault" status, by doing so the inverter will disconnect from the grid and the display panel will show for example a message similar to "T
OK 49.95Hz -48ms". This means that the threshold and the measured mains supply frequency have become equal at 49.95Hz and the switching time is
48 milliseconds.
