Installing a Memory Card
Refer to
assumes that no memory card is currently installed.
To install a memory card:
1.
If necessary, on the I3H-6TX-MEM, remove the cable retention bracket in order to access the
memory card slot coverplate.
2.
Remove the two screws holding the memory card slot coverplate and remove the coverplate.
Save the two screws.
3.
Slide the memory card into the slot and press firmly to seat the card into the connector. The
memory card is keyed so it will fit into the slot only one way.
4.
Replace the coverplate and reinsert the screws. The coverplate has a knob that allows the plate
to be installed only one way.
5.
If necessary, replace the cable retention bracket.

Note: The I-Series memory card is not interchangeable with a standard Compact Flash card. A
standard Compact Flash card will not work in the I-Series switch, and the I-Series memory card
cannot be used in place of a Compact Flash card in other systems.
Warning: Do not install or remove the memory card or the memory card cover unless the area is
known to be non-hazardous.
