Installing and Removing Plates

To install or remove the cell plates, follow these instructions:
Upper Plate
The upper plate is simply pushed onto the end of the shaft, and fixed in position by screwing up the draw-
rod until finger tight. To remove it, reverse the procedure.
Lower Plate
The lower plate is screwed into the bottom of the asphalt bath. Use the removal tool provided to tighten
and loosen this plate (see the figure below).
