When using a phase-phase power supply, use a tester to
determine which of the two wires has the greater potential
compared to the earth and connect it to the L terminal. Con-
nect the remaining wire to the N terminal.
9
For fl oating power supplies, i.e. those which have no earth
connection, an insulation transformer must be used with a
secondary unit connected to the earth.
9
It is mandatory:
− to use a multi-pole trip-switch to disconnect the line in
compliance with CEI-EN standards (contact opening at
least 3 mm)
− to use cables with a 1.5 mm
(phase) - N (neutral) connection
− that the amperage on the switch is adequate for the boil-
er's electrical power rating. Please refer to the technical
data to check
− the electrical power rating for the model installed
− to connect the appliance to an effi cient earthing system
− to ensure that access to the power socket is protected af-
ter installation.
0
The use of gas or water pipes to earth this appliance is strict-
ly prohibited.
9
The manufacturer declines any liability for damage caused
due to the lack of a proper earthing system or failure to
comply with the wiring diagrams.

2.7 Associating the zone to the corresponding channel

The BAG
3
is able to manage two or three water zones at different
temperatures:
Zone 1 BT1 low temperature system associated with circulation
unit 1 and mixing valve 1
Zone 2 BT2 low temperature system associated with circulation
unit 2 and mixing valve 2
Zone 3 At high temperature system associated with circulation
unit 3

To control the zones, the BAG
which REC, TA or CT can be connected:
CH1
channel 1 (main channel)
CH2
channel 2
CH3
channel 3.
Factory default settings are:
Zone 1 = CH1 channel 1 (main channel)
Zone 2 = CH2 channel 2
Zone 3 = CH3 channel 3
