INSTALLATION

2.6 Electrical connections

The BAG
3
is prearranged with rubber cable feed-throughs (1) lo-
cated in the top section of the box allowing wiring to be passed
through.
Below is an explanation of how to correctly connect and confi g-
ure the BAG
3
on the basis of the type of boiler, the type of sys-
tem, the presence of an REC (remote control) and/or TA (ambient
thermostat) and/or CT (chrono-thermostat) and the presence, or
lack, of an external sensor.
Some functions can be enabled directly on the BAG
using the designated jumpers supplied. These jumpers are in
a small bag secured to the inside of the cover of the electrical
connection box.
9
Before carrying out any electrical intervention, set the main
system switch to "off".
Connecting the BAG
3
to the electrical power supply
− Pass the cable (2) which comes out of the electrical con-
nection box (3) through the cable feed-through (1) and
connect it to the electrical power supply (phase-neu-
tral-earth) making sure not to connect it below the boiler
fuse.
2
3
Access to the BAG
3
board
− To access the BAG
3
board, loosen the four screws (4) and
remove the cover (3).
BAG
3
confi guration
The BAG
3
can be confi gured in one of two different operating
modes, Link Mode or Stand Alone.
9
On delivery, the system is confi gured in Stand Alone mode.

2.6.1 Stand Alone Mode

Stand Alone mode can be confi gured in order to use BAG
all types of boilers. In this mode, the BAG
the set-point calculated on each individual zone to the boiler.
Therefore, the boiler will have a delivery temperature equal to
the set-point set on the boiler itself and the REC, TA or CT will
control activation (or lack of) of the individual zones.
To summarise:
STAND ALONE:
− CAN BE COMBINED WITH ALL BOILERS
− HEAT REQUEST TO THE BOILER WITH DRY CONTACT
− MANUAL SET POINT TEMPERATURE (ON BOILER).
Below are the connection diagrams of the BAG
boiler, REC, TA or CT, and to the external sensor.
1
N.B.: The connections are in relation to the model with 2 mixing
zones. Do not consider the connection BT2 for the model with
only one mixing zone.
