3 COMMISSIONING

3.1 First start-up

Before starting up the BAG
3
trical connections have been carried out correctly.
During the testing phase it is possible to check the temperatures
of the low temperature zones using the thermometers (T1-T2).
T1
Starting with the appliance off, when the BAG is powered, the
closing of the mixing valve is simultaneously activated for 140 sec
(Mixing valve closing time Power On).
In this phase the circulation units remain off.
This phase allows the system to begin system adjustment start-
ing from a situation in which 'everything is off'.

3.2 Trimmer adjustment

There are 3 trimmers on the electronic board of the BAG
which allow the delivery temperature of the different zones
to be adjusted in both Link Mode and Stand Alone mode.

The trimmers (TR1-TR2-TR3) take on a different function depend-
ing on whether there is an external sensor or not.
WITH an external sensor installed
If the external sensor is connected, the delivery temperatures
are determined by the calculation carried out by the thermoreg-
ulation. The trimmers allow the set-point calculated in the zone
concerned to be corrected as per the table.

WITHOUT an external sensor installed
If the external sensor is not connected, the trimmers adjust the
"fi xed point" system set-point by directly setting the delivery
temperature in the zone concerned. This is adjusted as per the
table.

If there is a Family Remote Control or REC 08 it operates as in-
dicated in the section "3.3.1 Delivery temperature between the
BAG and the system" .

3.3 Temperatures

This section describes how the delivery temperatures of the in-
dividual zones of the heat generator can be managed.
3.3.1 Delivery temperature between the BAG and
the system
Delivery temperature control of the individual zones varies de-
pending on whether or not there is an external sensor.
With thermoregulation by the external sensor
(jumper ST3-ST4-ST5 inserted)
The delivery temperatures of the zones are determined by the
calculation of the thermoregulation carried out by the BAG
board in relation to the set coeffi cient K and the external tem-
perature.
The low temperature zones are equipped with mixing valves
which adjust the delivery temperature on the basis of the value
calculated by the BAG
ature.
The set coeffi cient for these zones is K=1 (see graph).
The high temperature zone will have a delivery temperature de-

termined by the thermoregulation:
− With a Link Mode connection between the BAG
boiler, the delivery temperature is the temperature which
is determined by the thermoregulation of the BAG board
in relation to the external temperature
− With a Stand Alone connection between the BAG

the boiler, the delivery temperature determined by the
thermoregulation of the BAG board cannot be transmit-
ted to the boiler therefore, it will be the value set in the
boiler using the adjustment knob.
The set coeffi cient for these zones is K=2 (see graph).
