INSTALLATION

2.6.2 Link Mode (REC)

Link Mode can be confi gured to use the BAG
communicate with OPEN THERM. protocol. In this mode, the BAG
is able to interact with the boiler and sets the delivery temper-
ature on the basis of the set-point calculated on the individual
zones. The REC, TA or CT will control activation (or lack of) of the
individual zones. To summarise:
LINK MODE:
− CONNECTION VIA BUS TO THE BOILER
− AUTOMATIC TEMPERATURE SET POINT.
9
To manage the boiler in this confi guration, the Remote
Control (Family REC or REC 08 depending on the boiler)
must be connected to channel 1 (CH1).
To confi gure the BAG
3
in Link Mode, proceed as follows:
− Remove the small bag of the jumpers secured inside the
cover of the electrical connection box
− Insert the jumper into the seat ST6 of the BAG
− disconnect the cable from the connector M6 and connect
it to the connector M4
− connect the other end of the same cable to the remote
control/REC input (please refer to the electrical connec-
tion section of the boiler specifi c instruction manuals).

For Family type boilers, in LINK MODE confi guration, an
ITRF11 interfacing board must be connected onto the REC
channel between the BAG board and the AE board. If there
is an ITRF12 board, this must be replaced.
Below are the connection diagrams of the BAG
boiler, REC, TA or CT, and to the external sensor.
