Adjusting the end positions

The end positions can be set by ± 20°
(+5°/-15°).
Adjusting the end position 0°:
Move the ball valve to the closed

position.
Loosen the lock nut 1.
G
Adjust the end position via screw 2.
G
Tighten the lock nut 1.

Adjusting the end position 90°:
Move the ball valve to the open position.

Loosen the lock nut 3.
G
Adjust the end position via screw 4.
G
Tighten the lock nut 3.

Check the tightness of the

media connections prior to
commissioning!
Use only the appropriate

protective gear when
performing the tightness
check.
CAUTION
Provide precautionary measures
against exceeding the maximum
permitted pressures caused by
pressure surges (water hammer).
Observe pertinent standards prior
to commissioning
Check the tightness and the function of
the ball valve (close and reopen the ball
valve).
If the plant is new and after repairs rinse
the piping system with a fully opened
ball valve (to remove any harmful foreign
matter).
The plant operator is
responsible for selecting
the cleaning material and
performing the procedure.
