Sample Not Detected or Sampling Fault

Pump Tubing
No "pull" on sample line
See Page 3-13.
System
No sample in measurement block
Blockage in sample path
Segments of Wash solution in sample path causing false 'sampling
complete' or 'bubble in sample' indications
Leaks in sample path
Sucking in air on sample line
Fluid Detector
Sample detector cover not fitted
Ambient light affecting fluid detector
Detector failure - confirm by Sample Flow Routine, Page 4-12.
Dirty tube
Take care when aspirating capillary samples.
Check pump tubing is tensioned.
Check measurement block tube is connected to the pump tubing.
Replace pump tubing.
Repeat sample measurement.
Clear blockage, Page 3-31.
Clear blockages in drip tray/manifold/pump tubing, Page 3-31.
Check sensor 'O' rings and replace if necessary, Pages 3-17 and 3-19.
Check sensors are seated correctly, and the sensor tensioner is
pushed firmly home, Page 3-17.
Check probe connector 'O' rings and replace if necessary, Page 3-24.
Cure leak.
Fit cover, Page 3-29.
Position 248 out of direct sunlight.
Replace detector. See instructions on detector packaging.
Replace probe tubing and measurement block tube.
