Only open the actuator under

1.
Separate actuator from control medium.
2.
Remove loose compressor 3.
3.
Remove protective cap SA2.
4.
Remove optical position indicator SA1.
5.
Remove protective caps 29.
6.
Clamp actuator in a press.
CAUTION
Applied pressure too high!
® Risk of breakage of actuator
top 10!
Only use minimum required

pressure.
7.
Undo and remove bolts 12 with washers 13
between actuator top 10 and actuator
base 16.
8.
Slowly release the press.
9.
Remove actuator top 10.
10. Remove spring set comprising compression
springs IF, MF and AF, from actuator
base 16.

16 Returns

Clean the valve.

Request a goods return declaration form

from GEMÜ.
Returns must be made with a completed
G
declaration of return.
If not completed, GEMÜ cannot process
credits or

repair work

but will dispose of the goods at the
operator's expense.
Note for returns:
Legal regulations for the protection
of the environment and personnel
require that the completed and
signed goods return declaration
is included with the dispatch
documents. Returned goods can
be processed only when this
declaration is completed.
