9.7 Setting Options On the Displays Tab

SoundAdvisor Model 831C
The 831C LCD screen has 6 color theme options: 3 light and 3 dark. We
re comme nd the light scre e ns whe n you're ope rating the me te r in
sunlight or outdoor se ttings. We re comme nd the dark the me s for
indoor or low-light use.
To acce ss the se se ttings on the me te r, go to ToolsSystem
PropertiesLocale.
Selecting a Language
The 831C has a built in language translation feature, and you can set
your language preference.
The following languages are available: English, French, German, Italian,
Portuguese (PT & BR), Norwegian, Spanish, Swedish, Czech, Turkish,
Chinese, and Thai.
Selecting a Decimal Symbol
Depending on your preference, select a period or a comma for the
decimal place, and save your change.
Selecting a Date Format
Select one of the 2 available date formats: dd-mm-yyyy and yyyy-
mm-dd. For example: 2017-02-14. Save your change.
Setting a Unit of Measurement
The de fault unit of me asure me nt for the 831C is SI (International
System of Units). However you can also select English units. Make your
selection and save the change.
To acce ss the se se ttings on the me te r, go to ToolsSystem
Properties Displays.
Customizing the Start Display
Start refers to the display that you see when you boot up the 831C.
Select your option from the drop-down, save, and close. Your new start
display appears on the next power up.
