With both 831C-ELA and 831C-SR, or 831C-MSR, firmware options
installed, you can set up the 831C to automatically initiate a sound
recording snapshot at the beginning of each measurement history
period.
Before you begin:
Open the Setup Manager
setup file with Measurement History enabled, as shown in
Setting Up a Measurement ith Measurement
Step 1 Go to Tools
Setup Manager and highlight the name of a measurement
history enabled setup file.
softkey (*//) to open the Sound tab.
Step 2 Select a sound recording Range value. For more information about this
and other values on the Sound page, which affect the quality of the
recording, see
Quality.
Step 3 Select the checkbox in-line with Save Measurement Sound, and enter a
Snapshot Time.
