Overview

CURI (Common User Remote API Interface)

The MegaRAC K1 is normally configured through the Internet browser-based K1 GUI.
WincuriK1Vga is an optional way to configure the MegaRAC K1. WincuriK1Vga is a
command prompt-based utility. It is explained in this appendix.

CURI Client

The CURI Client program is a command prompt-based program that you can use to
configure the MegaRAC K1. It allows you all the functionality of the K1 GUI.

Running the CURI Client from Microsoft Windows

To run the CURI Client program, open Command Prompt on a local network computer,
place the MegaRAC K1 CD into the CD-ROM drive. Locate the Wincuri.exe program on
your MegaRAC K1 CD Disc. It is located in the following directory:
CDROM\RemoteTools\wincuri.exe
A typical way to get to the RemoteTools directory of your MegaRAC K1 CD would
be as follows:
C:\Documents and Settings\Current User\> CD D:\REMOTETOOLS
D:\REMOTETOOLS\> WincuriK1Vga
Note:
The above example uses the following:
The CD-ROM drive is the 'D' drive.
Do not type '<ENTER>'. This means that you must press the <ENTER> key on your
keyboard.
