Control Panel : Alerts Settings

Allows you to configure, setup and view SNMP. Alert. settings and email alert settings.

Description
SNMP. Traps
The SNMP. Alert. Settings page allows you to Enable SNMP Alert Notifications. This
page also allows you to input the Community Name, Target. IP. This page allows you to
select the alert types which are to trigger SNMP notifications.
E-Mail
The Email Alert. Settings page allows you to Enable Email Alert Notifications.

Control Panel : Alerts : SNMP Alert Settings Page

To enable SNMP. Alerts notification, left click on the box next to 'Enable SNMP alert
notification'. You can configure up to four Target. IP addresses.
Field/Item
Description
Community Name
This column allows you to enter the Community name for each of the SNMP. destinations
1 through 4.
Target. IP
This column allows you to enter the IP address of the targets for the SNMP traps.
Add button
Left click this button to add the SNMP. destination.
Delete button
This button allows you to delete a selected item from the list.
Information box
Check this box to trigger an SNMP. alert notification to be sent whenever an informational
event is recorded. An Information event can be an event such as a system reboot.
Warning box
Check this box to trigger an SNMP. alert notification to be sent whenever a warning event
is recorded. Examples of Warning events are: heat threshold exceeded, fan speed too
slow, and so on.
Critical/Fatal box
Check this box to trigger an SNMP. alert notification to be sent whenever a critical or fatal
event is recorded. A Critical or Fatal event can be an event such as a hard disk drive
failure.
Apply button
To save changes, left click the Apply button.
Restore button
Left click this button to reload current settings.

Control Panel : Alerts: Email Alert Settings Page

To enable Email Alerts notification, left click the box next to 'Enable email alert
notification'. You can configure up to four Email addresses.
Field/Item
Description
Email Server.
Type IP Address or FQDN of the SMTP server for outgoing mail into this field. SMTP
Username and passwords authentication is not supported in this build.
Email Address
This column allows you to enter the email addresses for up to four destinations.

Add button
Left click this button to add an Email address.
Delete button
This button allows you to delete a selected item from the list.
Information
Check this box to trigger an email notification to be sent whenever an informational event
is recorded. An Information event can be an event such as a system reboot.
Warning
Check this box to trigger an email notification to be sent whenever a warning event is
