Control Panel : Network Settings : TCP/IP Settings Page

The default TCP/IP setting is to obtain an IP Address and DNS server address from a
DHCP server.
To specify an IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway, and DNS information, left click the
'Specify an IP address and DNS server address' option.
Field/Item Description
Select Network This dropdown menu allows you to select the NIC to configure (if applicable).

Obtain IP Address and By default the TCP/IP setting is set to obtain an IP Address and DNS server address from
DNS Server Address a DHCP server.
Automatically
Specify an IP Address To specify an IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway, and DNS information, left click the
and DNS Server 'Specify an IP address and DNS server address' option.
Address
IP Address Type the static IP address you want the network interface card to use.
Subnet Mask Type the subnet mask you want the network interface card to use.
Default Gateway Type the IP address of the gateway you want the network interface card to use. Press the
<ENTER> key to continue. This field must have an entry and cannot be left blank. If you
do not have a gateway installed on your network, enter 0.0.0.0 for the value of this
field.
Primary DNS Server Type the IP address of your network's primary DNS that you want the network interface
card to use. Press the <ENTER> key to continue. This field must have an entry and cannot
be left blank. If you do not have a primary DNS installed on your network, enter
0.0.0.0 for the value of this field.
Secondary DNS Type the IP address of your network's secondary DNS that you want the network interface
Server card to use. Press the <ENTER> key to continue. This field must have an entry and cannot
be left blank. If you do not have a secondary DNS installed on your network, enter
0.0.0.0 for the value of this field.
DNS Suffix Type your network's Primary DNS Suffix into this field.
Note:
Apply button To save changes, left click the Apply button. To cancel without saving changes, left click
the Close button.
Reset button Left click this button to recover the original settings.
Create Team This option allows you to configure network teaming of the NICs.
Delete Team This option allows you to delete an existing team.

Prior to configuring network teaming, please make sure to connect both NICs to the same
subnet.
The following teaming modes are supported:
•
Balanced Round Robin
•
Dynamic Link Aggregation (802.3ad) – requires configuration of switch
•
Balance TLB (Transmit Load Balance)
Note: Whether you choose NIC-1 or NIC-2 as the primary NIC, the IP address of the network
team will be that previously assigned to NIC-1.
