Control Panel : iSCSI : Statistics Page

The Target. Statistics page displays the Device Statistics and the Error Statistics.

Description
Device Statistics
This list contains sent and received statistical information for SCSI. payload, iSCSI.
PDUs, and iSCSI PDU bytes.
Error Statistics
This list contains count statistical information for failed login attempts, failed sessions,
failed header digest sessions, and failed format error sessions.
Reset button
Use this button to reset both the device and Error statistics.
Refresh button
Use this button to rebuild the window with the most current information.

The iSCSI. Session Management page displays the Session List.

Session List
This list allows you to view active sessions. It also allows you to terminate any of the
listed sessions.
Terminate button
Use this button to terminate a selected session.

Use this button to rebuild the window with the most current information.

Control Panel : iSCSI : Bi-directional Authentication Page

The Bi-directional Authentication. page displays the Initiators List gathered from those
iSNS. servers that this box has registered with or you can enter the name of an iSCSI
initiator or username and password, manually if you are not using iSNS.

This list displays all initiators connected to the targets configured on this Storage.

You can use this button to refresh the list.
Password
This field allows you to set a password (target secret) for the selected initiator. This secret
has to match the one entered at the initiator to allow mutual Chap authentication.

Confirm Password
This field allows you to verify the newly entered password for the selected initiator.
Set Password button
Use this button to save changes and make the changes active.
Initiators will try automatically to reconnect to targets after the sessions are
terminated. If the termination needs to be permanent, change the Target.
security settings in Storage. under Target list tree prior to terminating the
session.
A minimum of one ISNS server needs to be configured, and the ISNS server
should have a list of registered initiators that can be accessed by the Storage.
Appliance..
Most ISNS servers will not allow the initiator list to be queried without
registering one target node with it first. This can be done by creating a disk and
associating it with a target in Storage. Explorer.
Initiator. passwords must be a minimum of 12 characters and a maximum of 16
characters in length.
