The use of accessories other than those specified or provided
by the manufacturer of this device can lead to an increase
in electromagnetic emissions or a decrease in the device's
electromagnetic immunity; this can result in faulty operation.
Failure to comply with the above can impair the performance
of the device.
Instructions for the metrological check
Every Veroval
monitor has been carefully tested by HARTMANN
®
for measurement accuracy and has been developed with a view
to a long service life. We recommend carrying out a metrolog-
ical check every 2 years for devices in professional use, for
example, in pharmacies, medical practices or hospitals. Please
also observe the national regulations specified by the legislator.
Metrological checks may only be carried out by the competent
authorities or authorised maintenance providers against cost
reimbursement.
Instructions for calibration mode
A functional check of the monitor can be carried out on people
or using a suitable simulator. A metrological check involves
testing for leaks in the pressure system and possible deviations
in the pressure reading. Remove at least one battery to switch
to calibration mode. Now hold the START/STOP button down

and re-insert the battery. Release the button after a few seconds
and, after a few moments, 'FA(' will appear on the display.
'PSr' and '01' will then appear. Press the START/STOP button
briefly. '000' and '0' will appear on the display. Instructions
on the metrological check will be supplied by HARTMANN upon
request to the competent authorities or authorised maintenance
providers.

posed of in household waste. Please comply with the relevant
waste disposal regulations or use public collection points.
