Setting parameter sets

There are a total of four programs (SET 1 to SET 4)
that can be stored in the instrument with different
parameter settings.
Pressing the START button calls up the next
higher program.
Pressing the Pause button calls up the next lower
program
(Fig.
37).
The individual buttons used to select and pro-
gram the respective parameters are in the bot-
tom row of the control panel field.
Example:
To modify the length of the coverslip mountant
stroke (STK), press the RELEASE COVERSLIP
button
(Fig.
38).
The name of the parameter and its currently set
value appear on the display
lected program (SET 1 through SET 4) is shown
in the top right.
The START or PAUSE buttons can be used to
increase or decrease the value of the parameter
respectively. Press RESPOND as confirmation.
The procedure for changing a value is identical
for all parameters.
