OPERATION

14.1 Shutting Down the Implement

Tractor & Snow Blower
To shut down the implement, first bring the tractor to
a complete stop. Then slow down the snow blower
by reducing the engine speed before disengaging
the PTO. Wait for all rotating motion to stop before
proceeding to drive or shut down the tractor.
Park the tractor on a level surface, place the
transmission in park or neutral and apply the
parking brake, lower the attached implement to the
ground, shut down the engine, remove the key, and
wait for all motion to come to a complete stop
before exiting the tractor.
Skid Steer & Snow Blower
To shut down the implement, first bring the skid
steer to a complete stop. Then slow down the snow
blower by reducing the engine speed before
disengaging the auxiliary hydraulics.
Park the skid steer on a level surface, place the
transmission in park or neutral and apply the
parking brake, lower the attached implement to the
ground, shut down the engine, remove the key, and
wait for all motion to come to a complete stop
before exiting the skid steer.
