INTRODUCTION
Attention Owner/Operator
BEFORE OPERATING THIS MACHINE:
1. Carefully read the Operator's Manual, completely understand the Safety Messages and instructions, and
know how to operate correctly both the tractor and implement.
2. Fill out the Warranty Card in full. Be sure to answer all questions, including the Serial Number of the Snow
Blower. Mail within 30 days of delivery date of this implement.
NOTE: Warranties are honored only if completed "Owner Registration and Warranty" forms are received by
Schulte within thirty days of delivery of the implement.
3. Record the Snow Blower Model and Serial Numbers on the Warranty page at the front of the Operator's
Manual. Keep this as part of the permanent maintenance file for the implement.
Special Notes:
The SBX-75/87 Snow Blowers use shear bolts to protect the fan and auger.
The cross haft shear bolt is: 1/4 Grade Two (2) bolt 2 inches long
The specified PTO shear bolt is: Metric M8x45 Grade 8.8
NOTE:Both length and grade are important in this specification.
IMPORTANT: Replacement of a shear bolt with one of a grade, length or diameter other than the specified
shear bolt will be considered unauthorized modification and warranty will be void.
Refer to the Maintenance Section of this Operator's Manual for help in properly identifying these grades of
bolts.
