10. PRE-AUTHORISATION CANCEL

STEP 1
Press the # key or tap
STEP 2
Select 'pre-auth cancel'
STEP 3
If cashiers are enabled, enter the cashier ID
STEP 4
If the cashier requires a PIN, enter the cashier's PIN
STEP 5
Call for override and press 'OK' (O)
STEP 6
To authorise, enter the supervisor ID and PIN
This transaction is not supported by contactless.
STEP 7
'Swipe or insert card' is displayed with the total amount to be approved
STEP 8
Insert, swipe or tap the card
STEP 9
If prompted, the customer must enter his/her PIN
When the card has more than one application linked, the POS device will
STEP 10
display an 'account selection' screen; select the appropriate account
STEP 11
Select 'transaction'
Enter the authorisation code, which was received from Standard Bank
STEP 12
and printed on the pre-authorisation to be completed
STEP 13
The POS device will display 'approved'
on the screen
