Bus Segments on the Adaptec SCSI Card
The Adaptec PowerDomain 29160/29160N SCSI PCI cards fea-
ture Adaptec's SpeedFlex technology. SpeedFlex technology
allows newer, faster LVD SCSI devices and slower SE SCSI devices
to run simultaneously on different segments of the SCSI bus.
(See Achieving Maximum Performance with SpeedFlex on page 26
for more information.)

You can connect a total of 15 SCSI devices to either the Adaptec
PowerDomain 29160 or 29160N.

Connecting Internal 68-Pin LVD SCSI Devices

Use a 68-pin LVD cable to connect internal LVD SCSI devices to
the 68-pin internal LVD/SE connector on the Adaptec
PowerDomain 29160 or 29160N. The cable should look similar
to the ones shown in Step 1 following.
