To display information about the other controller
1 Press Menu, choose Controller Menu, then press Enter.
2 Choose the desired controller, then press Enter.
3 Choose Other Controller Menu, then press Enter.
4 Choose Other Information, then press Enter.

6 Press Esc to return to the Other Controller Menu.

Shutting Down the Other Controller

You can gracefully shut down the other controller if you are
preparing to replace it or power off the RAID appliance. Always
use the Shutdown Other Function in preference to the Kill Other
Function. (See Killing the Other Controller on page 5-10
when to use the Kill Other Function.)
1 Press Menu, choose Controller Menu, then press Enter.
2 Choose the desired controller, then press Enter.
3 Choose Other Controller Menu, then press Enter.
4 Choose Shutdown Other, then press Enter.
The system asks you to confirm the change.
5 Choose Y, then press Enter.
The other controller shuts down gracefully.
6 Press Esc to return to the Other Controller Menu.

Shutting Down Both Controllers

You can gracefully shut down both controllers simultaneously if
you are preparing to replace them both or power off the RAID
appliance.
1 Press Menu, choose Controller Menu, then press Enter.
2 Choose the desired controller, then press Enter.
3 Choose Other Controller Menu, then press Enter.
4 Choose Shutdown Both, then press Enter.
The system asks you to confirm the shutdown.
