RAID level—Array type (0, 3, 4, 5, 50, volume, or mirrored). The
I
term mirrored is used for both RAID 1 and RAID 10 arrays.
Number of drives—Number of disk drives in the array when
I
fault-tolerant. For example, if you create a three-drive RAID 5
array and lose one disk drive, the number will still display 3.
Number of drives per subarray—(RAID 50 only) Number of
I
disk drives in each underlying RAID 5 array.
Number of spare drives—Number of spare disk drives
I
dedicated to this array.
Size—Size of the entire array (expressed in MB or GB for arrays
I
larger than 10 GB).
Chunk size—Array's chunk size.
I
Date created—Date the array was created.
I
Utility—Utility running (None, Verify, Reconstruct, Expand, or
I
Initialize).
Number of partitions—Number of partitions created on the
I
array.
Free partition total—Amount of free space (no partition) on the
I
array.
To view the status of an array
1 Press Menu, choose Controller Menu, then press Enter.
2 Choose the desired controller
3 Choose Array Menu, then press Enter.
4 Choose the array you want, then press Enter.
5 Choose Array Status, then press Enter.
The Array Status screen appears showing the status of the array
you chose.
6 Choose an option, then press Enter.
The status information appears.
7 Press Esc to return to the Array Status screen.
8 Repeat Step 6 to choose another option, if desired, or press Esc
to return to the Array Menu.
