Handling of the anti-tipper
3.7.1 General information on anti-tipper
In the case of leg amputations, a wheelbase extension, or at least an anti-tipper, should be used
to improve the stability against tipping.
A wheelbase extension is not a substitute for an anti-tipper.
Activate:
(1)
180°
The anti-tipper must always be locked in its end position.
Deactivate:
(1)
180°
Always turn the anti-tipper only 180 ° from the deactivated position to the active position. Avo-
id full turns in one direction of rotation, otherwise the tension spring inside the anti-tipper will
be damaged and the anti-tipper may lose its functionality.
