The stove is fitted with a spillage monitoring system consisting of a thermal switch. This system is
not adjustable, and must not be put out of action when the appliance is in operation, if the switch is
removed it would be deem the appliance to be unsafe and must immediately be disconnected from
the gas supply and a warning notice issued. If any parts of the spillage monitoring system require
replacement only original manufacturers' parts must be used.
All surfaces except the controls are considered to be working surfaces, all care should be taken to
minimise the risk of burns to vulnerable and young children when the stove is in operation.
The stove must not be used or installed for any other purpose other than as a room heater and a
decorative stove.
The stove must not be operated with the door open, without the door attached or the glass in the door
damaged, broken or missing. It must not also be operated without the correct flue or chimney system,
and it must not be operated unless it has been installed & commissioned in accordance with these
instructions.
