Appendix 5 Barcode reader
The Reacti f Barcode reader is a laser barcode scanner. The Barcode reader connects to
the analyzer to scan the pati ent (ID) barcode numbers on the specimen containers. The
Barcode reader can scan the following:

French Pharmacode
Industrial 25

Matrix 25
Note: A maximum of 25 characters can be read by the barcode reader and displayed,
stored, and transmitt ed by the analyzer.
