Warranty
The Reacti f Touch Urine Analyzer has a one-year warranty period. This warranty is
designed to reduce the cost associated with repairing systems that exhibit malfuncti ons
due to defects in materials and/or workmanship during the warranty period. One year
warranty starts from the date of original purchaser's receipt of the product from nal von
minden GmbH. Use the Warranty Registrati on Card provided with the instrument to re-
gister the warranty. To obtain assistance during the warranty period, please contact your
local technical support provider or distributor.

Replace the batt eries. See Secti on 10, Changing Batt eries.

Make sure that the test table is in place. Move the test table in or out
of the instrument slightly to repositi on the test table.

If the error remains, with the instrument powered on, unplug the pow-
er cord from rear of instrument and plug it back in. Turn the instrument
on by pressing the gray power butt on.

If the error remains with the test table in place, contact your local
Customer Service and Support Center.
Replace the printer paper. See Secti on 3, Loading the Printer Paper or Label
Roll.
Clean the calibrati on strip. If the error remains aft er cleaning, contact your
local Customer Service and Support Center.
Ensure that the strip type selected in the Instrument Setup matches with
the strip being used. If the correct type of strip is being used, check the
instrument operati on by running another test using: a) a yellow and clear
specimen, or b) Quality control.
Repeat the test ensuring that the strip is positi oned on the test table.
Repeat the test ensuring that the strip is correctly positi oned on the test
table. If the error remains, examine the test table insert to ensure the small,
white line located near the ti p of the strip (on strip side of insert) is present
and not damaged. If this line is damaged or missing, contact your local Custo-
mer Service and Support Center
