Connecti vity

Reacti f Touch allows for Bluetooth, Ethernet or wireless network connecti vity, and use of

opti onal barcode reader to eliminate manual steps and reduce transcripti on errors. Refer

to Secti on 7 Analyzer Setup: Analyzer Conﬁ gurati on: Connecti vity and Reacti f Touch

From ti me to ti me nal von minden GmbH will add new features and make improvements

to the Reacti f Touch urine analyzer soft ware.

These soft ware updates will be available on an electronic memory card (SD card or USB

ﬂ ash drive) which is inserted into the soft ware update socket (by the USB port or SD card

socket). The USB port is located on the back of the instrument, and the SD card socket is

located under the batt ery compartment cover and on the right-hand side of the batt ery

compartment when you face the bott om of the instrument.

Updati ng the soft ware is a simple procedure. Instructi ons for updati ng the soft ware

please refer to the Reacti f Touch Soft ware Update Instructi on.

Open the printer cover by pulling up on the tab. Open the paper roll compartment cover

by pulling forward and lift ing up. Place the new paper roll into the printer paper compart-

ment with the paper unrolling from underneath and toward the compartment wall. Pull

about 4 inches (or 10 cm) of paper through. Close the printer and paper roll covers by

clicking them into positi on.

Note: The analyzer is enabled to automati cally print the results (to turn oﬀ the auto-

mati c print functi on refer to Secti on 7 Analyzer Setup: Analyzer Conﬁ gurati on:

Printer Setup). The analyzer uses regular thermal paper or sti cker label paper.

Press the On/Oﬀ butt on located on the front of the instrument. The analyzer will run

an automati c system diagnosti c test each ti me it is turned on. This is the ﬁ rst screen

displayed.
