1. About This Document

SpectraLink's Open Application Interface (OAI) enables third-party computer
applications to communicate with SpectraLink's Wireless Telephones. This document
explains installation of the NetLink OAI Gateway manufactured for the NetLink Wireless
Telephones by SpectraLink Corporation. The NetLink OAI Gateway provides an
interface with an application server on the local area network (LAN) or RS-232 port. The
installation process connects the NetLink OAI Gateway to an existing LAN.
