This appendix describes how to change NIC
configuration parameter values with the 3TLVDIAG
diagnostic and configuration program.
At power up, the system BIOS automatically configures
the NIC with port address and IRQ parameters. You
cannot change these parameters with the 3TLVDIAG
program.
Table A-1 lists the 3C339 PCI NIC configuration
parameters you can change with the 3TLVDIAG program.
Table A-2 lists other 3C339 PCI NIC configuration
parameters. You cannot change these parameters with
the 3TLVDIAG program. They can be changed within the
operating system configuration files.
The parameter syntax shown in Table A-1 and Table A-2 is
for NetWare and may be included in the NetWare
NET.CFG file. The parameter syntax may be different
with different operating systems.
