10 Click OK when you have finished selecting and
editing protocols.
11 In the Configure panel, click Close.
12 In the MPTS dialog box, click Exit.
13 In the Update CONFIG.SYS panel, click Exit to
update the CONFIG.SYS file.
14 When a message indicates that the CONFIG.SYS file
has been successfully updated, click OK.
15 In the Exiting MPTS panel, click Exit.
16 If your token ring network is running at 4 Mbps,
you must edit the PROTOCOL.INI file to set the
ring speed.
Include the SPEED parameter after the
DriverName TL3C3X$ line. For example:
[TL3C3X9_NIF]
DriverName=TL3C3X$
SPEED=4
PACKETSIZE=4096
17 Remove the TokenDisk diskette and restart the
computer.
This concludes the MPTS procedure for installing the
OS/2 driver.
