This chapter contains procedures for installing 3C339
NIC network drivers. The drivers are located on the
TokenDisk diskettes shipped with the NIC. To obtain
drivers not included on the diskettes, contact the
manufacturer of that network operating system or
application. To obtain software updates and patches
for 3Com drivers, use one of the bulletin board services
listed in Appendix C, "Technical Support."
The 3C339 PCI drivers are not backward-compatible with
the 3Com TokenLink Velocity 3C319 ISA NIC or with
TokenLink III 3C6x9 ISA, EISA, MCA, or PC Card NICs.

Table 3-1 shows where to find driver installation
procedures, whether in this chapter or on the
TokenDisk diskettes.
