4. To display the kernel logfile at any of these memory addresses, enter the following
command:
.printf (<memory address>)
Another scenario where the persistent memory feature might be useful, is the definition of a
persistent memory region which you can use for the storage of application-specific data. In
order to define such a memory region, you may want to use the standard U-Boot variable
pram. It allows to reserve a memory region (at the end of the physical memory) which is not
overwritten by U-Boot. Furthermore, U-Boot will report less memory to the Linux kernel (via
the mem parameter) so that Linux will not use it either. Refer to the U-boot documentation for
further details.
