OTHER FUNCTIONS AND OPERATIONS
I Backlight function
The function display and keys can be backlit for better
visibility under low light conditions�
You can set the Backlight mode to Day mode or Night
mode� The Day mode is for the daytime operation,
and the screen items are in color� The Night mode
is for nighttime operation, and the screen items are
displayed in black and red�

The transceiver has automatic channel and frequency
scan capabilities (Scan function)� There are 3 types of
scan functions�
z CH (Channel)
z CH Resume
z Program
D CH and CH Resume
The CH and CH Resume searches within a 20
channel range, such as channel 1 to channel 20, in
the user channels, and searches all channels in the
same bandwidth in the group of ITU channels and ITU
