Vehicles with diesel engine
– Remove engine cover panel ⇒ Rep. gr. 10 ; Engine cover
panel; Removing and installing engine cover panel
– Remove upper timing belt guard by detaching clips -arrows-.
Continuation for all vehicles
– Remove bolt -1- on brake servo -2-.
– Unclip wiring harness -6- from mounting bracket -1-.
– Unscrew bolt -1- on the right above the brake pedal support.
– Unscrew nut -2- on left beneath brake pedal support.
– If fitted, unclip upper control unit holder from mounting bracket.
– Remove the mounting bracket.
Installing
Install in reverse order. Note the following points:
– First, screw bolt -1- in loosely.
– Connect brake pedal to brake servo ⇒ page 63 .
