– Remove tunnel cross member by undoing bolts -arrows-.
– Remove clamping sleeve -1-.
– Remove exhaust pipe -1- by loosening nuts -arrows-.
– Remove exhaust pipe together with reducing agent injection
valve - N474- .
Continuation for vehicles with diesel engine and particulate filter
Note
♦ Particulate filter does not have to be removed from the vehicle
in vehicles with front-wheel drive.
In vehicles with all-wheel drive remove particulate filter as

complete unit ⇒ Rep. gr. 26 ; Exhaust gas treatment; Re‐
moving and installing particulate filter
– Release connector -2- from differential pressure sender -
G505- and pull off.
– Remove bolt -4-.
– Remove bolt -3-.
– Remove differential pressure sender - G505- and place to one
side.
– Remove securing bolts -1- and take out bracket.
– Release connectors -1- to -4- on plenum chamber bulkhead
and pull off.
– Unclip connector from holder and uncover lines/cables.
