NOTICE: one 13/16 in (21mm) wrench and one 23/32 in (18mm) wrench are required to level the cutting deck. The
wrenches are not included.

To Make Side-to-Side Adjustment

1. Postion both blades so that the ends point toward the sides of
the mower (Fig. 28).
2. On the outside edge of each blade, measure the distance
from the bottom edge of the side of the blade to the ground
(Fig. 29). If the distance between the two sides is greater than
13/64 in (5mm), side-to-side adjustment is necessary.
3. On the side you wish to adjust, use a 13/16 in (21mm) open-
end wrench (not supplied) to adjust the one jam nut on the
back of the mower (Fig. 30).
4. Measure again. Continue to adjust and measure until the
difference between the distance on each side is within 13/64
in (5mm).
5. Proceed to front-to-back adjustment or retighten the nuts.
NOTICE: in case of the jam nut on the back is removed from the
tool accidently, remount it with the shoulder of the jam nut facing
outward. No requirement for the two nuts on the suspension
linkage.
