    PERSONAL SAFETY ◾ Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury.

    ◾ Use power tools only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire. ◾ When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another.

    ◾ Avoid mowing wet grass. Poor footing could cause a slip and fall accident. ◾ If situations occur that are not covered in this manual, use care and good judgment. Contact EGO Customer Service for assistance. ◾ Do not use the product when there is a risk of lightning.

    ATTACHING / DETACHING THE BATTERY PACK (Fig. E3 – E6) In order to start this mower, EGO batteries totaling 15 Ah (2 X BA4200/BA4200T) or more are required. For best performance, we recommended use of EGO batteries that total 30 Ah or more.
  • Page 31 WARNING: Before starting the mower, check and make sure the blades are disengaged within 5s when pushing the PTO switch downward. If the blades fail to stop, do not use the mower and contact your EGO customer service immediately.
