2. Quick Setup
Connect into the device using the DD.
A. Set the HART Tags for the VECTOR V1100:
1. From the main DD screen, select Configure... (In Simatic PDM, select Configure... from
the Device menu at the top of the screen).
2. Select Manual Setup... V1100 Information...
3. Enter in the HART Tag.
4. Enter in the HART Long Tag.
5. Transfer the updated information to the VECTOR V1100 by clicking on the Send or
Transfer button.
By default, the VECTOR V1100 is at HART polling address 15.
NOTE
By default, all wireless HART adapters are configured as a
primary HART master. Configure the HART communicator used
to configure the VECTOR V1100 in Secondary HART master
mode.
The VECTOR V1100 can be damaged if the direct power source is
CAUTION
greater than 32 VDC
