10.3 Connecting the
control medium
Important:
Connect the control medium lines
tension-free and without any bends
or knots!
Use appropriate connectors
according to the application.
Thread size of the control medium
connectors:
Diaphragm size 8:
Diaphragm size 10:

For connectors 2 / 4 see picture on the left
Actuator version R: actuation is also
possible using the connectors offset by 90°.
10.4 Setting the seal adjuster
and the stroke limiter
Important:
Only set the seal adjuster when
the valve is completely assembled
(with diaphragm and valve body)
and in a cold condition before
commissioning!
Set the seal adjuster (seal adjuster serves
to improve diaphragm life):
1. Move the actuator to the closed position.
2. Unscrew grub screw B on the outside of
the actuator cover A with Allen key and
remove actuator cover A.
3. Unscrew stroke limiter C.

4. Move the actuator to the open position.
5. Unscrew special bush with indicator spindle
D (do not pull indicator spindle out of
special bush).
Special feature of actuator size 1
(diaphragm size 10):
Remove nut F from special bush D.
