Important:
Connect the control medium lines
tension-free and without any bends
or knots!
Use appropriate connectors
according to the application.

Disassembly of actuator and gasket

1. Move actuator A to the open position.
2. Loosen all hexagon nuts a and remove
them.
3. Remove actuator A with actuator fl ange from
valve body fl ange.
4. Move actuator A to the closed position.
5. Remove gasket 43 from valve body fl ange.
Important:
After disassembly, clean all parts
of contamination (do not damage
parts). Check parts for potential
damage, replace if necessary (only
use genuine parts from GEMÜ).

Replacement of seat seal

1. Disassemble actuator A as described in
chapter 12.1, points 1-5.
2. Remove cylindrical screw 3 from valve plug.
3. Remove retaining nut d and seat seal 6.
Connectors
2: Control medium (open)
4: Control medium (close)
2: Control medium (open)
4: Control medium (close)
4. Clean all parts, do not scratch or damage
the parts during cleaning.
5. Insert new seat seal 6.
6. Insert retaining nut d. Fix with cylindrical
screw 3.
7. Assemble actuator A as described in
chapter 12.3, points 1-4.

Assembly of actuator and

gasket 43
1. Move actuator A to the open position.
2. Insert new gasket 43 into valve body fl ange.
3. Position actuator with actuator fl ange
on valve body fl ange, pay attention
to the position of the control medium
connectors.
4. Screw in all hexagon nuts a hand tight and
tighten diagonally with an appropriate
tool.
5. Move actuator A to the closed position,
check function and tightness of
completely assembled valve.
Important:
Replace gasket 43 and hexagon
nuts a during every actuator
disassembly / assembly.
