To change the battery on the Trojan PACE 380:
1. Remove the Console. 2. Check that the wire from the Console is properly connected to the wire from the Main Frame. 3. Make sure the batteries are correctly positioned and the battery springs are making proper contact. 4. If the batteries are dead, replace them with new ones.

ASSEMBLY STEPS 1. PREPARATION • Before assembling make sure that you will have enough space around the item. • Use the supplied parts and hardware for the assembly. • Before assembling, please check whether all the required parts have been supplied as per the exploded drawing on the opposite page.

ASSEMBLY STEPS STEP 2 STEP 2: THE UP-RIGHT POST ASSEMBLY Release the Locking Knob (48) by turning it in a counterclockwise direction until it can be pulled out. Pull out the Locking Knob (48) and slide the Seat Post (5) into the Bushing (53) and Seat Post Cover (59) on the tube of the Main Frame (1).

ASSEMBLY STEPS STEP 3 STEP 3: CONSOLE POST AND TENSION CONTROL KNOB ASSEMBLY Remove 4 Bolts (M8 x 15 mm) (19) and Big Curved Washers (Ø20 mm x Ø8 mm) (14) from the tube of the Main Frame (1). Insert the Tension Cable (L = 1150 mm) (55) through the bottom hole of the Console Post (7) and pull it out from the square hole of the Console Post (7).

ASSEMBLY STEPS STEP 4 STEP 4: HANDLEBAR, CONSOLE AND THE FOOT PEDALS ASSEMBLY Install the Handlebar (8) to the groove of the Console Post (7). Insert the Hand Pulse Sensor with Wires (L = 750 mm) (49) into the hole on the Console Post (7) and then pull them out from the top end of the Console Post (7). Attach the Decorative Cover (63) onto the Handlebar (Ø25 mm) (8) with a Spacer (Ø12 mm x 1.5 mm x 20 mm) (41) and T-Knob (M8 x 55 mm) (62).

MUSCLE TONING To tone muscle while on your Trojan Pace 380 Exercise Bike you will need to have the resistance set quite high. This will put more strain on your leg muscles and may mean you cannot train for as long as you would like.
MAINTENANCE CLEANING The Trojan Pace 380 Exercise Bike can be cleaned with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasives or solvents on plastic parts. Please wipe your perspiration off the Trojan Pace 380 Exercise Bike after each use.
Always consult your physician before beginning any exercise program. MUSCLE CHART The exercise routine that is performed on the Trojan Pace 380 Exercise Bike will develop the lower body muscle group as well as condition the circulatory system and provide a good aerobic workout. CONDITIONING GUIDELINES How you begin your exercise program depends on your physical condition. If you have been inactive for several years, or are severely overweight, you must start slowly and increase your time on the equipment, a few minutes per workout. Initially, you may be able to exercise only for a few minutes in your target zone, however, your aerobic fitness will improve over the next 6 to 8 weeks.
