    ASSEMBLY STEPS 1. PREPARATION • Before assembling make sure that you will have enough space around the item. • Use the supplied parts and hardware for the assembly. • Before assembling, please check whether all the required parts have been supplied as per the exploded drawing on the opposite page.
  • Page 12 ASSEMBLY STEPS STEP 3: HANDLEBAR AND CONSOLE STEP 3 ASSEMBLY Secure the Handlebar (5) to the Front Post (4) using 2 Allen Bolts (M8 x 20 mm) (22) and 2 Curved Washers (Ø8 x Ø20 mm) (19). Insert the Upper Pulse Wires (20) through the Grommet (32) in the Front Post (4) and pull it out from the top of the Front Post (4), then connect it to the Upper Pulse Wire (21).
  • Page 13 ASSEMBLY STEPS STEP 5: PEDAL ASSEMBLY STEP 5 Attach the Left Pedal Strap to the Left Pedal (9) which is marked L. Attach the Right Pedal Strap to the Right Pedal (10) which is marked R. Attach the Left Pedal (9) and Right Pedal (10) to their appropriate Crank Arm (25).

    CONSOLE FUNCTIONS FUNCTION BUTTON: INPUT POWER: Plug the adaptor into the equipment and the wall socket. The Console will now make a beep and turn on in the Manual mode. PROGRAM 1. Use the UP or DOWN keys to select the program mode and then press ENTER to SELECT AND confirm your exercise mode.
  • Page 15 CONSOLE FUNCTIONS CALORIES: Your Console will estimate the cumulative calories burned at any given time during your workout. NOTE: This is an estimated value and must not be used as medical advice. PULSE: Your Console displays your pulse rate in beats per minute during your workout. AGE: Your Console is age-programmable from 10 to 99 years.
  • Page 16 CONSOLE FUNCTIONS ENTER: In the setting mode, press the key to accept the current data entry. In stop mode, by holding this key for over 2 seconds the user can reset all values to 0 or default value. When setting the Clock, press this key to accept the hour and minute setting. BODY FAT: Press the key to input your HEIGHT, WEIGHT, GENDER and AGE to measure your body fat ratio.

You can press any key to wake up/re-activate the Console. BMI: BMI is a measure of body fat based on height and weight that applies to both adult men and women.

    EXERCISE INSTRUCTIONS Using your Trojan Pace 370 Stationary Cycle provides you with several benefits, it will improve your physical fitness, tone muscle and in conjunction with a calorie controlled diet, help you lose weight. THE WARM UP PHASE This stage helps get the blood flowing around the body and the muscles working properly. It will also reduce the risk of cramp and muscle injury.
  • Page 25 MUSCLE TONING To tone muscle while on your Trojan Pace 370 Stationary Cycle you will need to have the resistance set quite high. This will put more strain on your leg muscles and may mean you cannot train for as long as you would like.

    Always consult your physician before beginning any exercise program. MUSCLE CHART The exercise routine that is performed on the Trojan Pace 370 Stationary Cycle will develop the lower body muscle group as well as condition the circulatory system and provide a good aerobic workout. These muscle groups are highlighted on the muscle chart below.

    CONDITIONING GUIDELINES How you begin your exercise program depends on your physical condition. If you have been inactive for several years, or are severely overweight, you must start slowly and increase your time on the equipment, a few minutes per workout. Initially, you may be able to exercise only for a few minutes in your target zone, however, your aerobic fitness will improve over the next 6 to 8 weeks.
