    ASSEMBLY STEPS 1. PREPARATION • Before assembling make sure that you will have enough space around the item. • Use the supplied parts and hardware for the assembly. • Before assembling please check whether all the required parts have been supplied as per the exploded drawing on the previous page.
  • Page 11 ASSEMBLY STEPS STEP 3: HANDLEBAR POST AND COVER STEP 3 Remove 4 x M8 x 15 Bolts (12), 2 x Ø20 x Ø8 x 2.0 Washers (21) and 2 x Ø16 x Ø8 x 1.5 Washers (13) from the Main Frame (1). Remove bolts with the S6 Allen Key provided.
  • Page 12 ASSEMBLY STEPS STEP 5: SEAT POST AND COVER STEP 5 INSTALLATION Slide the Seat Post Cover (30) over the tube of the Main Frame (1). Insert the Seat Post (4) into the Seat Post Bushing (42) on the tube of the Main Frame (1) and then attach the Locking Knob (22) onto the tube of the Main Frame (1) by turning it in a clockwise direction, This will lock the Seat Post (4) in the desired position.
  • Page 13 ASSEMBLY STEPS STEP 7: COMPUTER, FOOT PEDALS STEP 7 INSTALLATION Remove 4 x M5 x 10 Bolts (16) from the Computer (14). Remove bolts with the Multi Hex Tool and Phillips Screwdriver provided. Connect the Hand Pulse Sensor Wires (10) and Extension Sensor Wire I (15) to the wires that come from the Computer (14).

    SEAT ADJUSTMENT SEAT ADJUSTMENT (UP AND DOWN) To adjust the seat height, loosen the spring Knob on the Vertical Post Stem on the Main Frame and pull back the Knob. Position the Vertical Seat Post for the desired height so that holes are aligned, then release the Knob and retighten it.

    COMPUTER FUNCTIONS FUNCTION BUTTONS: ▲ Increases the resistance level. This button can also be used for setting selection. ▼ Decreases the resistance level. This button can also be used for setting selection. MODE / ENTER: Selects the setting or selection. RESET: Press and hold for 2 seconds for the Computer to reboot and re-start the user setting.
  • Page 16 COMPUTER FUNCTIONS FUNCTIONS AND OPERATIONS: TIME: Displays the exercise time. If the exercise duration is not set, the time will count up from 00:00 to a maximum of 99:59 in increments of 1 minute. If the exercise duration is set, the time will count down from the preset time to 00:00.

    OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS START-UP STEP 1: FIGURE 1 Plug in the power supply and the Computer will switch on. It will display all segments on the LCD for 2 seconds (Refer to Figure 1). STEP 2: FIGURE 2 Select the User Data option. Use UP or DOWN buttons to select U1-U4, then set SEX, AGE, HEIGHT and WEIGHT (Figure 2), and confirm by pressing the MODE / ENTER button.

    EXERCISE INSTRUCTIONS Using your Exercise Bike provides you with several benefits, it will improve your physical fitness, tone muscle and in conjunction with calorie controlled diet help you lose weight. THE WARM UP PHASE This stage helps get the blood flowing around the body and the muscles working properly. It will also reduce the risk of cramp and muscle injury.

This is a repeat of the warm up exercise e.g. reduce your tempo, continue for approximately 5 minutes. The stretching exercises should now be repeated, again remembering not to force or jerk your muscles into the stretch. As you get fitter you may need to train longer and harder.

    MAINTENANCE CLEANING The Trojan Power 500 Exercise Bike can be cleaned with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasives or solvents on plastic parts. Please wipe your perspiration off the Trojan Power 500 Exercise Bike after each use.

    TROJAN POWER 500 EXERCISE BIKE The exercise routine that is performed on the Trojan Power 500 Exercise Bike will develop the lower body muscle group as well as condition the circulatory system and provide a good aerobic workout. These muscle groups are highlighted on the muscle chart below.

    CONDITIONING GUIDELINES How you begin your exercise program depends on your physical condition. If you have been inactive for several years, or are severely overweight, you must start slowly and increase your time on the equipment, a few minutes per workout. Initially, you may be able to exercise only for a few minutes in your target zone, however, your aerobic fitness will improve over the next six to eight weeks.
