Chapter 4 Using the LCD Screen
The following table describes the navigation pad features.

4.3 The Keypad

The keypad is also a very important part of working with the V500's LCD screens. It allows
you to make selections based on list postion (for example, pressing the 1 key to select item
number 1 in the menu) and enter important information into the fields that require it (such as
your user name and password).

The following table describes the keypad features.

DESCRIPTION
These keys' functions depend on the screen currently displayed on the LCD
screen. A word or symbol displayed on the LCD screen above a softkey
shows its current function.
Press this to display the V500's configuration menu. Press it again to exit
the menu. The menu is not accessible when a call is in progress.
Press these keys to move around the V500's screens. Press
one line in a menu, and press
one space to the right, and press

DESCRIPTION
Use these to enter numbers, letters and symbols. Use the # key to switch
between Number mode, Uppercase mode, Lowercase mode and Symbol
