Crossover Detection (Auto MDI/MDI-X)

The product supports crossover detection (auto MDI/MDI-X), which means that there is the option of
using patch cables or crossover cables.
When using patch cables and crossover cables in the same network, crossover detection must be
activated in the higher-order controller.
2.1.4

Distributed Clocks

The product supports the "Distributed Clocks" function for precise synchronisation of stations in an
EtherCAT network. Applications that require simultaneously coordinated actions can therefore be
implemented.
The following CPX-E modules permit synchronous operation when using "distributed clocks":
